Triple layered: the artwork is printed on 3 sandwiched sheets of Recycled and FSC certified boards. By adding cardboard to the back, the print gets firmness and you can place it against a wall without the paper bending. You can choose from a variety of colored insert:
A 'white border' is an unprinted border in the color of the paper on which you have the artwork printed.
This unprinted edge is 5 mm for all sizes.
This option is nice when you hang the printout without a frame (and possibly have it triple layered laminated).
A white border is not a passe-partout.
If you opt for a print with a white border, keep in mind that the photo no longer fits behind a standard passe-partout and an unprinted border may still be visible within the passe-partout.
Triple layered (oftewel 'cacheren') is drukwerk op karton plakken. Tussen twee vellen papier (van jouw keuze) wordt (gekleurd) ... mm gerecycled en FSC-gecertificeerd karton verlijmd. Hierdoor krijgt de print stevigheid en kun je hem rechtop tegen een muur plaatsen zonder dat het papier buigt. Je kunt uit de verschillende bovenstaande tussenkleuren kiezen.
Een 'witrand' is een onbedrukte rand in de kleur van het papier waarop je het artwork laat drukken.
Deze onbedrukte rand is bij alle formaten 5 mm.
Een witrand is geen passe-partout.
Deze optie is mooi wanneer je de afdruk zonder lijst ophangt (en eventueel laat cacheren).
Wanneer je kiest voor een print met witrand, houd er dan rekening mee dat de foto niet meer achter een standaard passe-partout past en er wellicht binnen de passe-partout nog een onbedrukt randje zichtbaar is.
