Seagulls

Seagulls. They are certainly not my favorite birds: They make an unpleasant screeching sound. They are cheeky, eat unwanted food from your plate. And they drop things in places you don't want them to. But…they belong to the sea which I love so much. And as a photographer, they are the easiest birds to practice bird photography with. In short: this is not the last seagull you will see passing by…

De Meeuw. Het is zeker niet mijn favoriete vogel: ze maken een onaangenaam krijsend geluid. Ze zijn brutaal, eten ongewenst voedsel van je bord. En ze laten dingen vallen op plaatsen waar je ze niet wilt hebben. Maar... ze horen bij de zee waar ik zo van hou. En als fotograaf zijn het de gemakkelijkste vogels om vogelfotografie mee te oefenen. Kortom: dit is niet de laatste zeemeeuw die je hier voorbij ziet komen…
